It probably happened to you sometimes that you order your favorite fish meal in a restaurant, hoping for a tasty, juicy and soft bite to arrive, but instead you get dry and badly prepared meal and regret ordered fish at first place. Besides fish being fresh or not, the proper preparation is key to a good flavor.
· Make sure that you buy as fresh fish as you can get and ask if it is possible to clean it for you to make it easier for you to prepare
· The night before making your fish meal pour some olive oil into fish and from above and spice up the fish the way you want (salt, pepper, vegetable mixtures…)
· The cooking time depends on the type of fish, but approximately one hour before lunch time put the fish in a casserole dish. Pour in the rest of the topping in which the fish was stored. Adjust the oven to the middle temperature.
· On the half of the baking time pour the beer over the fish and set the high temperature if the fish has not received a gold brown color yet. Otherwise do not increase the temperature and take care that it does not burn. The amount of beer depends on the amount of fish, but it is necessary to pour over all parts of fish to prevent it being dry after cooking. You will notice that the meat absorbed all the beer that you poured very quickly – which is of course a good sign.
· With your fish meal, be sure to serve a lemon, a suitable side dish or dressing. The type of dressing depends on the type of fish you are preparing, but you will never make a mistake making a marinade that consists of olive oil, parsley, garlic and little salt.
Serve the fish, pour some chill wine and enjoy the meal!
