But we don’t always have to make big steps.
Sometimes, the right change begins in small, repeated actions:
– 10 minutes for a new skill
– 15 minutes of genuine attention
– 1 new question you don’t often ask
– 1 micro decision that changes your routine
And just like that – without big cuts or drama – you start moving yourself, your work, and your family life forward.
Instead of constantly thinking “did I give enough to this or that,” maybe it’s better to ask yourself:
👉 Does my day have enough space for both me and the people I care about?
Because it’s not about the perfect balance, it’s about feeling like you’re living a life that works for you, and having the energy to be present – both at work and at home.
Don’t have time for a course?
You don’t have to enroll in something big right away.
Try this:
– One video that might not be directly related to your work but gives you a new idea on how to improve it
– A podcast that broadens your horizons while you commute
– A short course while waiting for your child outside school
– Quick reading on a topic you’ve been interested in for months but never started
– Ask a colleague a question – the one you always think of when you don’t have the time to ask
The point isn’t to “work on yourself” for 2 hours a day – it’s enough to not forget that you’re growing through the little things.
You don’t have to spend the entire day with your family to feel close.
It’s enough to introduce something new:
-> Weekly challenge: everyone in the family learns something new and shares it
– Cooking together with a new recipe
– Calling someone you haven’t spoken to in a while, but you miss
– An evening without TV – just board games
– Gathering loved ones at home with favorite snacks and a nice drink
– A walk without phones – just conversation
The point isn’t to be constantly together – it’s to be present, sincere, and willing.
Yes, energy is important – but it’s not more important than the people around you.
You don’t have to put yourself first, but don’t forget that you shouldn’t be last either.
If every day you do something small for your personal development, and something small for the people you love – you’re already on the right track.
We tried this as an experiment:
Every day – 1 thing for yourself and 1 thing for the people you love.
Sometimes it was a video that wasn’t directly professional but made us look at our work in a different way.
Sometimes it was calling someone we hadn’t spoken to in months but meant a lot to us.
Sometimes it was cooking with a new recipe.
Sometimes it was gathering friends at home – without a special occasion.
Nothing grand.
But every day felt more fulfilling.
That’s why we recommend:
👉 Make a list of small actions you can fit into your day.
👉 Don’t have the whole weekend? You have 20 minutes. That’s enough.
You don’t have to plan everything, have the perfect agenda, or “finally fix your life.”
It’s enough to just get started.
One conversation you don’t postpone.
One day when you don’t forget about yourself.
One decision not to do everything – but only what matters to you.
Because the most important shifts don’t come when we have everything under control, but when we give ourselves space to be present, curious, and ready for small steps.
And that’s more than enough for your restart.
What are you planning to introduce this spring – for yourself and the people you love?
